King Baby
Whether talking about cake, hammocks, wearing robes, getting sick while eating hot pockets or his desire to to end all conversation by saying "and cut," Jim Gaffigan is one of the funniest men in America. That's probably why he is popping up all over the place of late. Not only is he one of our favorite guests, he's also a regular on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, stars in the TBS sitcom, My Boys and has recently released a number of CD/DVD combos including Beyond the Pale and Doing My Time. And things are about to get even busier fore Jim because his brand new Comedy Centralspecial: King Baby premieres this Sunday.

They Call Him
Tater Salad

Comedian Ron White has been performing stand-up comedy for many, many years now, but it was only after he participated in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that his career truly took off. Since that time, Ron has starred in his own WB special, sold over 500,000 copies of his first comedy DVD (They Call Me Tater Salad), and has been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman, Blue Collar TV, Premium Blend and Comedy Central Presents. But don't be alarmed , his touring days aren't over. In fact, he's in the middle of a big cross country comey tour right now. Check his website to see when he's coming to a town near you.

FACTOID - Ron owns a rodeo bull named "Scene of the Crash" - you can see him in action on YouTube!

FACTOID - Ron White’s third stand up special, “Behavioral Problems,” will premiere on Comedy Central on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 9:00PM ET. Shot in Seattle, WA last November, “Behavioral Problems” marks Ron White’s third solo comedy CD/DVD, following on the heels of his gold-certified “Drunk In Public” and “You Can’t Fix Stupid.” The latter premiered at #14 on the Billboard’s Top 200, ranked #1 on the Billboard Comedy charts for 9 consecutive weeks and was nominated for a Grammy award. Following the April 19 Comedy Central debut, “Behavioral Problems” will be released on CD/DVD; in stores Tuesday, April 21, 2009. This release will contain additional material, not shown on the televised special.

The Adventures of Bo Burnham
For many, YouTube fame comes from making an ass out of yourself, just ask the Star Wars Kid or Chris Crocker, but for Bo Burnham intetnet stardom came from his funny, politically correct and pun-filled musical videos. Originally recording these tunes in his bedroom for the enjoyment of family and friends, Bo's YouTube videos have now become an internet phenomenon, having been viewed over 20 million times. Bo Burnham is now expanding his career beyond the constraints of YouTube. Along with touring the country, he is starring in his first Comedy Central Presents special, premiering this Friday. He also just released his third album, Bo Burnham, available now.

Daddy Economopoulos
Comedian Costaki Economopoulos may be the star of our most oddly named segment, but it also happens to be one of the funniest. Since it's debut, The Economonologue has covered a variety of topics including strange superstitions, wacky laws and the origin of clichés. Costaki's able to take the things he sees and hears in everyday life and turn turn them into comedic observations you won't be able to believe you haven't thought of before, and will never be able to forget.

Steve Trevino
When Steve Trevino first began working at the Improv Comedy Club of Dallas, TX he immediately began packing house.  And by that we mean he used to let people in the club as their doorman.  But his years of dedicated door opening eventually paid off when given the chance to become a house emcee and open-mic night regular.  It was here that Trevino met Carlos Mencia, who invited Steve to head out on the road and become the opening act for his Three Amigos Comedy Tour. These days, Steve splits his time between headlining comedy clubs across the country, and living in L.A. where he likes to reflect on his Rock 'N Roll personality and lifestyle.

Time For an Image Makeover
Paul Mecurio has become a regular feature on the BOB&TOM show and we're fortunate to be a regular stop on his "mercurial" (sorry) journey. After walking away from a sweet Wall Street job he started as a staff writer for Jay Leno and soon found himself collecting awards for his work with the "Daily Show with Jon Stewart" where his duties currently include the pre-show warm up. He frequently performs this duty in a very personal way by doing his act while hanging out with the audience. Paul is currently featured on the Canadian Mist BOB&TOM All Stars Comedy Tour.

Tom Arnold
Visits the E.R.

Tom Arnold first came to the public's attention when he began his tabloid friendly relationship with Rosanne after the two met when he became a writer for her sitcom in the late 80's. Since that time, Arnold has gone on to become a major hollywood actor, appearing in a number of television programs and feature films including True Lies, Carpool, McHale's Navy and Austin Powers. This Thursday, Arnold returns to the small screen with a guest appearances on the long running medical drama, E.R. The episode airs Thursday night at 10pm on NBC.

White, Shortish and a Little Chunky
After high school, David Dyer wanted to peruse his dream of becoming a famous Broadway director, but after discovering that path involved a lot of work, he settled for becoming a stand-up comedian.  Now he’s making the same amount of money a low level stripper would pull in, but he’s happy, and he can provide name brand cereal for his kids. David’s twisted take on life’s quirky little situations means that he’s covering the same material a million other guys are doing, he just does it better.

Why Does
He Do This?

For the past decade, comedian Bill Burr has been working hard (performing over 300 shows a year) to establish himself as one of the finest standup comics in the business. It doesn’t matter if he’s performing on Late Night With Conan O’Brien or Showtime at the Apollo; Burr finds a way to connect with any audience. In his early days of comedy, he did this by making fun of his lunatic father, but these days he covers everything from current events to, well, his lunatic father. Burr has been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman, starred in two films, and had his own HBO and Comedy Central specials, the most recent of which, Why do I Do This?, is avialable on DVD.

The Compliment Guys
Feeling down?  Then you need to take a walk through the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where two guys are making it their business to make people feel better about themselves. Brett Westcott, a sophomore in civil engineering from Plainfield, Ill., and Cameron Brown, a sophomore in business management from Toledo, Ohio have gained national attention for their practice of standing out on the street every Wednesday and shouting out compliments to complete strangers.  “The Compliment Guys” are not affiliated with any group, nor are they doing this for any other reason than they just like to make people feel better.  Maybe your dad could learn a little something from these two.

The Guitar Guy
After joining his first band at the age of 10, and having his first hit song with Sam The Sham and the Pharos (Wooly Bully), at the age of 16, Brian Haner thought he’d just punched his ticket to a life of success and stardom.  But after moving out to Nashville to record a few solo projects, he realized that things weren’t always so easy.  It was during this time he discovered that his songs were seemed to be enjoyed more when he played them as comedies.  All of a sudden people were buying his albums, only now they were doing so hoping to laugh.  In 2006, Haner switched gears and became a full-time comedian, eventually teaming up and touring out with Jeff Dunham.

FACTOID – Brian Haner released an album that went Gold in Scandinavia.

Vague But True
Whether he's in the studio, on the phone, or live on his special ISDN line, comedian Tim Bedore joins BOB&TOM every Wednesday to bring us a new edition of his popular weekly feature, Vague But True. In these musings, Tim talks about whatever is on his mind at the time, whether that be politics, life lessons, spring breaks, or stories on how animals are trying to wipe out the human race. But no matter the topic, folks all over the country are glued to their radios waiting to hear what Bedore has to say.

Russian Roulette Anyone?
Most comedians claim to have come from bizarre backgrounds, but Wild Bill Bauer is proof positive of what can happen when you grow up around unstable relatives. A brilliant writer with a unique and manic delivery, Bauer combines his outlandish observations and peculiar personal tales into a comedy act that is hilariously shocking and a lot like an episode of Jerry Springer. Known to the BOB&TOM community as the guy with the uncle who plays Russian Roulette, Wild Bill Bauer is one of the few guest comedians that made an appearance on BOB&TOM's Greatest Hits Vol. 1 album. In other news, that famous piece has been made into an animated short.

Keep on Walking
If you've been wondering what comedian Mike Birbiglia has been up to lately, you're about to get your fix because he's once again set to call in and deliver another entertaining and informative entry from his Secret Public Journal. In this journal, Mike relives past adventures, shares his fears, and lets everyone know what kind of trouble his brother "Joebags" is getting to. In other news, Mike is still going strong with his one man show Sleepwalk With Me, which has just been extended to run through June 7th!

Show Us Your Teeth, Bob
World-famous stand-up comedian Bob Zany is set to deliver his eagerly anticipated weekly installment of The Zany Report and we couldn't be more excited. But if for some reason you aren’t exhausted from laughing when it’s all said and done, there's always BobZany.com where you can test your hand at punch line writing by playing Fix The Joke Baby. Pick up one of those "Salmon: The Other Pink Meat" bobbers while you're at it.
